Special shoutout to Charles Barrett PhD, NCSP who is a remarkable leader in the field of school psychology. Dr. Barrett is an outstanding presenter and is requested nationwide by state associations, including being the keynote speaker last year for NYASP and TASP. He has also spoken virtually to many classes of graduate students across the country as a guest speaker. He helps facilitate the NASP Exposure Project, which has exposed over 25,000 college and high school students to the profession of school psychology. He is a NASP leader and has helped lead the way in areas such as social justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. He is the author of two books, It’s Always About the Children and Today in School Psychology. It’s truly amazing that he is able to accomplish so much in addition to being a school psychologist coordinator for the Loudoun County Public Schools and a professor at multiple universities. His contributions to the field are truly incredible, and we are so proud of everything he’s accomplished!
