Description:

This webinar is designed to support school psychologists in fostering more effective and collaborative IEP meetings. Participants will begin by reviewing common myths about families in the IEP process and gaining more supportive perspectives. The session then introduces the 3 C’s of Student Success: Clinical, Clerical, and Communication as a framework for improving outcomes. Each “C” will be unpacked with practical examples from evaluations, documentation, and communication in the IEP context. Attendees will see how the 3 C’s can help reduce conflict, build stronger relationships with families, and keep the focus on student success. The webinar will also explore the roles of different IEP team members and how school psychologists can help bridge differing perspectives. By the end, participants will walk away with a clearer framework and strategies to apply immediately in their own practice.
