Bio:
Dr. Jeanne Anne Carriere is an Assistant Professor in Attallah College’s Counseling and School Psychology Program. She has over 30 years of experience as an educational psychologist working in school and clinical settings. Prior to joining CSP as a faculty member, Dr. Carriere was the Director of UCI Health’s Center for Autism & Neurodevelopmental Disorders’ Families, Agencies, & Schools Together (F.A.S.T.), a multi-tiered service program designed to educate and build collaborative relationships between parents, schools, clinical professionals, and community providers working and living with children with neurodevelopmental disorders. Dr. Carriere currently teaches school psychology fieldwork courses and social emotional assessment. In addition to supervising and mentoring Ed.S. students, Dr. Carriere has taught advanced assessment courses in the Ph.D. in Education program and supports doctoral students through dissertation committee membership.
Her research and practice interests are focused on building collaborative home and school partnerships, comprehensive evaluations of neurodevelopmental disorders, and effective report writing practices. Dr, Carriere presents and provides professional development at the state, national and international level and is the co-author of the chapter Writing Effective Psychoeducational Reports in the National Association of School Psychologists’ Best Practices in School Psychology, (7th ed.) and is currently working on the second edition of Writing Useful, Accessible, and Legally Defensible Psychoeducational Reports (Wiley, 2014).
