Bio:

Lucia Serio (she/her/ella) is a licensed educational psychologist and owner of Bookworm Educational and Psychological Services Inc., offering assessment, mental health, and sexuality education for individuals with I/DD, Down syndrome, and co-occurring conditions. She holds an Advanced Practice Certificate in Dynamic Assessment and serves as an Educational Consultant for Club 21 Learning & Resource Center for Individuals with Down syndrome.. Lucia also lectures in the school psychology program at CSU Los Angeles. She has previously worked on a multi-site study with UCLA, UCSD, and UC Davis to train educators in Classroom Pivotal Response Teaching for autistic students.
